Under Milk-Wood

Often termed ‘A Play for Voices’ Under Milkwood is a radio drama which charts the strange goings on in the fictional Welsh town of Llareggub.

The characters include Mr Pugh who is planning to kill his wife, the sorrowful Captain Cat who talks to ghosts and Mrs Ogmore Pritchard who relentlessly nags her two dead husbands.

The play is a tragic and comic poem of love, drunkenness and misadventure from the bizarre and brilliant imagination of Wales’ greatest poet.

The Lowestoft Writers Guild

Formed in October 2021, I have set up and have been running monthly meetings of The Lowestoft Writers Guild. A community group and a place where writers of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and styles can come and meet with other writers and talk about writing. It is a friendly community of like-minded people at all levels of experience and interest.
